I am rethinking my handwriting curriculum for next year and wondered if anyone knows of a handwriting program that uses a scaled down cursive--not every letter connects. It is almost a mix of cursive and printing...which I think most of us do naturally anyway.
I read an article a while back, probably linked from one of the many homeschool blogs I visit, that talked about this sort of handwriting. I think it was a professor, but she was writing about improving her own handwriting as well as her pre-teen daughter's handwriting. She linked to a unique handwriting program and I can't find it anywhere.
Could you be thinking about "Handwriting Without Tears" ? I've used the printing program with my beginners and absolutely loved it! (And so did they...NO TEARS!)
Actually we have HWT but I was looking for something different....not that I am unhappy with it, just wondering what else is out there. I am leaning toward keeping the HWT going another year.
