Comment by Karen Murphy Corr on May 9, 2011 at 8:34pm There is a group for Catholic parents already - Baby Saints - I invite you to come and check it out. There are a lot of babylost mothers online and it would be so nice to have a stronger community of Catholic babylost mums.

Comment by Karen Murphy Corr on May 9, 2011 at 8:24pm We had chromosomal tests done on the baby and it was a girl, like my 2nd loss last year. Unlike our other baby girl though, this baby, unfortunately, had trisomy 22---a rare type of trisomy---incompatible with life. I'm hoping that this abnormality won't repeat itself in a subsequent pregnancy.
Anyway, we decided her name will be Mary Bernadette. It just seemed so fitting for her, especially since she passed away in the month of February, the month of the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes.
I was very sad today...hope in time this will get better. I know it will, but 3 losses in a row have really taken its toll on me.
Comment by Eileen Mae K on February 26, 2011 at 1:10am Thank you Karen & Danielle. We do not even know if it was a boy or girl as we miscarried very early in our pregnancy (only 5-6 weeks) We chose Michael because I love St. Michael the Archangel and wanted our baby to defend life and faith along side St. Michael.
St. Michael the Archangel, pray for us.
Comment by Karen Murphy Corr on February 24, 2011 at 12:49am Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. I appreciate them.
Eileen--so sorry about your baby boy. :( You will be in my prayers.

Comment by Eileen Mae K on February 23, 2011 at 1:08am Today (02.22.11) was our EDD for our precious Michael. It was a hard day but I managed to get through it. I spent several hours today in tears but was able to make it to Mass. I spent time at a local bookstore (always one of my favorite places) I talked to many special friends who helped me to through this very rough day. I continue to pray that His will be done and not mine. My continuous prayer is "I am the handmaid of the Lord. Let it be done to me according to His word."
Happy "birthday" my sweet angel Michael. Mommy and Daddy love you very much.
