Hey Everyone. I'm a little discouraged this afternoon.  I know I'm a good mom to my three boys (5.5 y, 2.5 y, and 3m), but sometimes I just run out of ideas on how to deal with them. My 2.5 y old is…Continue

My Conversion Story

I'm just finishing up Rediscover Catholicism. This book has changed my life. I am so encouraged and inspired to live a better life today; to be the person God created me to be today; to really try to eliminate bad habits and replace them with good habits today; to nourish my soul today. In the last section of the book, Matthew Kelly talks about evangelization and how we should be...

Nature Walk

After a long day, I steal a few minutes outside with my camera. All alone. Even though I don't live in a cabin in the woods on a lake, I can find peace in nature right here, in the middle of the city, in the neighborhood, in the garden, barefoot on the grass, among the daisies and the bumblebees. I love the colors this time of year. Where have you found beauty in nature? If you'd like to...

My New Little Curtains

Help! Stubborn 2.5 yr. old.

Hey Everyone. I'm a little discouraged this afternoon.  I know I'm a good mom to my three boys (5.5 y, 2.5 y, and 3m), but sometimes I just run out of ideas on how to deal with them. My 2.5 y old is sweet as can be, until things stop going his way.  He has been throwing nasty fits over just about anything.  I usually stick my ground. I made him finish his broccoli before he could have the "fun" food, and I put him in his room/bathroom (b/c he had 2 fits during lunch) whenever he was…See More
