My nine children are grown now but there were many, many times when 15 or 20 minutes were all I could manage. I'd read the daily scriptures and pray for quick inspirations and then go through my litany of prayer intentions. Good luck.

I worked as a nursing assistant fifteen years ago or so and I think I was pretty good at it. I loved the old folks. I still love to visit them with my therapy dogs. But most of the people I visit are strangers or at best acquaintances. It is easy to be sweet and patient. I can change the subject by having the dog do a trick or politely say that I need to go because I promised to visit Ms. So and So in the next wing. - I am the mother of nine grown children and the grandmother of eight. I teach middle school English. My hobbies are reading, writing, walking, and dog training. I have two registered therapy dogs and visit local hospitals and nursing homes. My husband and I are approaching our 40th wedding anniversary.
