Tell us about yourself
I am a devout Catholic, born in NYC and moved to Miami in 1966. I have 3 grown children, two of which are married and blessed with 4 beautiful grandchildren, and my youngest will marry this year. Cannot wait for some more new grand babies!

Unfortunately, I am newly divorced after 38 yrs of marriage... my husband having a hard time coping with my illness - lung disease. I am grateful for the good years we have had and thank God for a great support from my sister and other family members.

I am very active in my church, though slowing down a bit due to health problems but still do projects for them on my computer, including pictoral directories, brochures, etc.

Love the Lord and hope to serve Him to my last breath.

Hello to all-



I have become involved in this cause and would like to spread some information. Edward Obeng-Kwakye does all he can 24/7 to help the orphans and speaks at anti-abortion campaigns at churches and even does radio talk shows.

Prayer Group/Requests



Hi everyone-



Just want to make all aware, especially the Dads, that there is a Prayer request group where we can pray for each other or just add your favorite devotions.



Have a nice area on St. Joseph and will continue to add to these areas of meditations and prayers to grow into a nice collection. So, feel free to do the same. All ideas are welcomed.

Many Thanks...

This past Sunday after the 10:30 Mass, we had a unveiling of a Good Shepherd Statue (Good Shepherd Church) that I had donated a while back. It had been put away until a decision was made as to where it would be placed that would best suit the needs of the parish. We knew that we wanted an area where people could come and sit and pray a bit.

Maria,

I am a grandma also! I have one grandaughter who is 3, and a grandson due in October!

I read your bio, and I will certainly pray very hard for your lung problem. I have Lupus, and I have nodules on my lungs.

I used to smoke cigarettes...horrible, God have me a miracle, and I quit almost 5 years ago...taking it one day at a time.

I would like to be added as a friend, please let me know.

Hi Maria - its been a while since I have been online. We are in the midst of moving to a new town where my husband just got a job. Praise God! We already knew the town very well and love the parish. We are so happy and blessed to be here. Look for pictures to be posted soon! In the mean time I won't be on too much, just too busy unpacking and cleaning! :-)
