Erika Drain said… - Yes, FB is too intrusive! My poor cousin had been courting a really nice guy and got engaged and changed her status on FB...everyone congratulated her etc., that was nice. A couple of months later, something happened between them and he broke off the engagement. Poor Rosemary, she changed here status and it broadcasted it to the world, basically. She, of course, didn't want to talk about it and take some time to pray about the whole situation. She was hurt and needed time alone, everyone bombarded her with comments, meaning well, but she just wanted to be left alone. It is very intrusive. I don't know why they think so much information needs to be shared with EVERYONE! :) Ok, I'm off my soapbox about FB, lol! I've seen your blog but didn't know it was yours! How funny! I'm going back to visit tonight...hugs, Erika

Re: Facebook...I think I get on there once every other week or so now! I mean it was great meeting up with old friends and past students of mine but I'm just not into it...there is such superficial friendships there (even if we have known each other for years, lol). Every time I get on there to basically delete my account (or minimize the number of friends and pictures I have on there) I bump into a friend that needs me for something (mostly words of encouragement) so I haven't officially cut myself off of there. Another good thing is that I have family all over the world and I can keep up with them through there. BUT Faith & Family Connect is definitely my favorite right now! :) Good to hear from you.

I'm so sorry I didn't reply sooner, I've been kept away from the computer a lot this week by my little darlings! It's lovely to hear you homeschool, it's wonderful. I don't currently homeschool, my oldest is at a Catholic primary school, but I think homeschooling is great. Probably the optimum way to educate a child, especially in the faith. How old is your youngest, and how are you finding homeschooling?

I also have a 3 year old and a 7 month old. I think this is going to be a great forum to inspire and challenge us to grow in holiness!
